2.2
iii. Shiva’s mother advised Shiva that he must enjoy only
when he can afford it.
iv. Shiva’s father asked Shiva as to what was the salary of
his new job.
v. Helping the needy is something which is very important
because you never know what that blessed soul is capable of in his/her life.
Every human is a universe in himself/herself, everyone be it a financially
stable person to an absolutely needy person is capable of super success, is
capable of being the best version of success and manifesting success in any and
every form. We are all born with the same capabilities and the same
intellectual faculties that we can use to tap into the higher spirit and
manifest success. Some people are blessed to have a roof on top of their head
and for some the struggle starts from there to first earn a roof, get the bread
and then work on succeeding. I also believe that we must especially help those
that are not only in a dire need to change that circumstances of their life but
also who have a burning desire to make that change happen.
vi. We must be every grateful for all the good happening in
our life to begin with. In this case or cases similar to Shiva’s, its given
that the person will be grateful for everything that he/she has. Simply because
not everyone can get what this person got. Be grateful and let the universe
listen to it and the universe will response with abundant blessings.
vii. The story of Shiva is indeed inspiring. Every aspect of
his life, his journey rather is inspiring. Shiva has demonstrated that if there
is a will there is a way but you’ve got to work all the way. His hardworking
nature, working round the clock to make ends meet, persistence, never giving
up, never letting negativity put him down, looking at the brighter side of life
and not letting the current situation and circumstances put him down are all
the wonderful qualities the protagonist of this story, Shiva has demonstrated
that I have taken inspiration from.
viii. Shiva worked at the electronics repair shop to make
ends meet, he also continued his newspaper delivery stint to continue making
money and studied very hard for his CAT exams. Although he couldn’t attend the
classes he used the old CAT question papers and the notes of his classes to
prepare.
ix. Shiva is a hardworking kid who delivered newspapers to
make ends meet. Although he is a very talented kid, a genius in the real sense,
he faced hardships in life. His dad gathered flowers of which his mom would
make garlands and he and his sister would sell these garlands at odd places
like the traffic signals and corners of the road just so that they could put up
a meal on the table. Shiva is a bright student always scoring well in his exams
and in fact is the topper of his school every single time. It is rightly said
that luck is defined as ‘preparation meets opportunity’. Shiva noticed a man
washing his car and somehow his intuition told him to go and speak to that man
and convince him to support his education. Mr. Krishna definitely did support
Shiva after getting to know him. Shiva worked his way through an electric store
and a repair shop of his own on the roadside just to make sure he can earn
enough. Ultimately he got into IIM and later on went on to fetch a handsome
salary. Shiva’s life is set however, he plans to quit his job and focus on his
entrepreneurial skills and explore the wonders of life, count on his hard work
and see what life has to offer him for it has showered more than what he could
have asked for so far.
x. The man who helped and guided Shiva, Mr. Krishna
Vedavyasa is a well to do man and has his own family and his own
responsibilities. It takes a lot of courage, open-mindedness and most
importantly a lot of selflessness to do what Mr. Krishna did. Mr. Krishna has
been the guiding force in Shiva’s life, showing him the right direction at
every step and mentoring Shiva to all through his struggle period. In today’s
world where people monetize on every single opportunity they can lay their
hands on, mentoring and providing guidance are literally a business in today’s
time and providing financial assistance is a bonus for those hungry sharks.
xi. Shiva has been through an amazing journey. Almost like
rags to riches. He wants to be Mr. Vedavyasa to all those Shiva’s who are
hungry to change their lives for the better, improve their situation in life
and are fearless, dedicated, bold and ready to take on any endeavour to
accomplish their goals but also need a little push and guidance.
